AINSTEIN building blocks are manufactured by ourselves in Austria, so that we can offer you a valuable toy of the best quality.
When selecting our suppliers, we prefer local suppliers in order to keep transport distances short.
We strive to maximise the proportion of recycled material in the raw materials we use. For example, more than 80% of the transparent plastic trays we use consist of recycled PET bottles and our cardboard packaging is made of recycled paper.
Our building blocks are tested by TÜV Austria and meet all legal requirements, including the European standard EN71 on toy safety.
You can download the current TÜV test report here: AINSTEIN-TÜV-Prüfung
Furthermore, you will find here the confirmation that our building blocks also comply with the strictest pollutant limit values without any problems: AINSTEIN-Materialprüfung
How do I recognise good toys?
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Health describes in its brochure
"Facts about toys. What you should consider when buying toys." (Tatsachen über Spielsachen. Was Sie beim Einkauf von Spielzeug
beachten sollten.)
good toys as follows:
it is versatile
leaves room for creativity and own play ideas
offers the possibility to play together with others
promotes dexterity and mobility
consists of high-quality materials and is well processed
has a simple, understandable construction and mechanics
is robust
Furthermore, it must of course comply with the legal requirements (European standard EN 71 on toy safety).
